We have solved this problem last week, thank you very much, you helped me. But we have 3 or more SQL instance and we must setup for all instance to give them permission . And on the end we have successfully setup on Veeam SQL Transaction . Thank you all .


Veeam Backup & Replication automatically triggers a backup job session to create a synthetic full backup, even if a regular backup job session is not scheduled on this day. The job session is started at the same time when the parent backup job is scheduled. For example, if you schedule the parent backup job at 12:00 AM Sunday through Friday, and schedule synthetic full backup on Saturday, Veeam Backup & Replication will start a backup job session that will produce a synthetic full backup at 12:00 AM on Saturday.


Veeam Backup & Replication creates a synthetic full backup only once a day on which synthetic full backup is scheduled. If you run the backup job again on the same day, Veeam Backup & Replication will perform incremental backup in a regular manner.


After that, guided by a Veeam Support I tried one more time installing each component separately. I mean installing first Veeam One server with WebUI option deselected.Then using the CLI with fallowing commands I was able to successfully install Reporter and Business View.cd /d D:\VeeamONEReporterWeb_x64.msicd /d D:\BV_x64.msi

These errors are due to the vsanmgmtd running out of memory, crashing, then attempting to restart on each host. Each time the service crashes in this situation, a python-zdump file is created. While vsanmgmtd is unresponsive or has crashed, the host can no longer report certain vSAN statistics to vCenter. This leads to vCenter reporting false or improper information for one or more hosts, causing many regular management operations to time-out or fail.The vsanmgmtd is commonly known as the vSAN Health Service or vSAN Management Service. Primarily, vCenter makes API calls to this service for vSAN reporting on various components. VMware also allows other software vendors to utilize this API for their software to provide reporting and other monitoring or analytical services. As this API is generally updated with every version of vSAN, it is important to ensure that the external software is updated to maintain compatibility. In this situation the version incompatibility lead to the vsanmgmtd service being polled too often, which further lead to memory exhaustion and crashes.Customers utilizing these tools, such as Veeam ONE, may still be running versions that only support ESXi 6.5 / vSAN 6.61 and below at the time of upgrading to VxRail 4.7.x. Due to this, it is imperative to verify compatibility of all external software in the vSAN environment for the new target vSAN version before upgrading.


Veeam Backup & Replication operates both the virtualization layer as well manages physical machine backup. It backs up VMs at the image-level using a hypervisor's snapshots to retrieve VM data.[5] Backups can be full (a full copy of VM image) or incremental (saving only the changed blocks of data since the last backup job run).[6] Backup increments are created using the built-in changed block tracking (CBT) mechanism. The available backup methods include forward incremental-forever backup, forward incremental backup, and reverse incremental backup. Additionally, there is an option to perform active full and synthetic full backups.[7]Veeam Backup & Replication provides automated recovery verification for both backups and replicas. The program starts a VM directly from a backup or replica in the isolated test environment and runs tests against it. During the verification, the VM image remains in a read-only state. This mechanism can also be used for troubleshooting or testing patches and upgrades.[8][9]


Backup applications have long offered several types of backup operations. The most common backup types are a full backup, incremental backup and differential backup. Other backup types include synthetic full backups and mirroring.


In the debate over cloud vs. local backup, there are some types of backup that are better in certain locations. If you're performing cloud backup, incremental backups are generally a better fit because they consume fewer resources. You might start out with a full backup in the cloud and then shift to incremental backups. Mirror backup, though, is typically more of an on-premises approach and often involves disks.


The most basic and complete type of backup operation is a full backup. As the name implies, this type of backup makes a copy of all data to a storage device, such as a disk or tape. The primary advantage to performing a full backup during every operation is that a complete copy of all data is available with a single set of media. This results in a minimal time to restore data, a metric known as a recovery time objective. However, the disadvantages are that it takes longer to perform a full backup than other types (sometimes by a factor of 10 or more), and it requires more storage space.


Thus, full backups are typically run only periodically. Data centers that have a small amount of data (or critical applications) may choose to run a full backup daily, or even more often in some cases. Typically, backup operations employ a full backup in combination with either incremental or differential backups.


Because an incremental backup will only copy data since the last backup of any type, an organization may run it as often as desired, with only the most recent changes stored. The benefit of an incremental backup is that it copies a smaller amount of data than a full. Thus, these operations will have a faster backup speed, and require less media to store the backup.


A differential backup operation is similar to an incremental the first time it is performed, in that it will copy all data changed from the previous backup. However, each time it is run afterwards, it will continue to copy all data changed since the previous full backup. Thus, it will store more backed up data than an incremental on subsequent operations, although typically far less than a full backup. Moreover, differential backups require more space and time to complete than incremental backups, although less than full backups. 2ff7e9595c
