Lisa, you're either extremely unlucky or something is being done to them. For the record, the D750 never had a recall. It had a service advisory. I had mine for 5 years and although its serial number qualified it for the advisory I had zero issues with it. It didn't exhibit the symptoms the advisory was called for. Yet, after 4 years of near daily use I had the shutter replaced at no charge and sold it just before getting a Z6. Mean while there are very public stories of the 5DII mirror falling out, R5 overheating and Sony bodies becoming inoperable in any capacity as the buffer clears.
